The Valaraukar, or Balrogs ("Demon of Might"), were demons of fire that served Morgoth, master of Sauron. They were among his most dreadful servants.In TA 1980, a Balrog awoke in Moria when the Dwarves had mined too deep for mithril. It drove the Dwarves out of their home and slew King Durin VI; the Balrog was thereafter known as "Durin's Bane". This particular Balrog was later slain by Gandalf.
In Edain Mod Balrog is the Mass slayer and Building destroyer hero of the Misty Mountains faction. It can bring devastation to the enemy units and buildings alike. Due to very short summon timer and long cooldown, the player must decide carefully where and when to summon him for it to be most beneficial.
Abilities[]
Ignite (Y) - The Balrog gains +200% Damage and +50% Armor. Left click on the icon to activate.
Fire Whip (X) - Attacks with flaming whip Left click on the icon then left click on the target unit/hero/building.
Scream (C) - Screams to frighten nearby foes Left click on the icon to activate.
Breathe Fire (V) - Breathes fire over selected area Left click on the icon then left click on the target area.
Wings (B) - Use wings for a short flight Left click on the icon then left click on the target area.
