The Border Stronghold is Gondor's unique outpost expansion, bringing support from the mighty coastal fortress of Dol Amroth, home of Denethor's wife, Finduilas, and Prince Imrahil. The knights from Dol Amroth and the leadership provided by Imrahil were vital during the siege of Minas Tirith in the War of the Ring.

Abilities

Boiling oil Release Boiling Oil - The fortress pours out boiling oil that will burn nearby enemies. You must first research Boiling Oil in the Border Stronghold before you can use the ability.

Resource Production - This building produces resources. It produces 10 Resources every 12 seconds by default. This number can be modified through upgrades and abilities.

Border stronghold upgrades Upgrades

The Border Stronghold can receive the following upgrades which improve or strengthen it.
Banners Banners: Grants +15% damage and armor to nearby troops. Cost: 400
Improved defensive measures Reinforce Garrison: Doubles the number of archers in the tower. Cost: 500
Boiling oil Boiling Oil: Allows the fortress to pour boiling oil on nearby enemy troops. Cost: 800
Houses of healing Houses of Healing: Heals nearby allies. Cost: 600
