Huge spiders, the brood mothers are the eldest children of Ungoliant. They infest the woods of Mirkwood and the Misty Mountains and spawn even more children. They are the unit support monsters of Misty Mountains faction. They can be recruited from the Wild Spider Lair after the player has taken control of it with the spellbook power Pact of Hatred.
Abilities[]
Spider Presence - Attacking cavalry units have 25% less speed and damage. Passive Ability.
Spawn Brood (X) - The Broodmother becomes stationary. As long as she doesn't move, she summons Spiderlings near her targets. Left click on the icon to activate.
