The Dunedain Outpost is Imladris' unique outpost expansion. It functions much like the Dwarven Lake-Town or Dale, and it can be upgraded with additional constructions to increase its usefulness. The upgrades include a hospital tent to heal units, a tower, a storage tent to increase command points, and a tent that allows recruitment. Halbarad and his Dunedain brethren can all be recruited here. Like the Hobbit Farm and its little defenders, the Dunedain Outpost spawns archers and pikemen who will attack nearby enemies but cannot be directly controlled.


The Dunedain Outpost can receive the following upgrades which add various tents. Each structure added produces additional resources, gives the outpost +500 HP, and spawns more Dunedain to defend it.

Dunedain watchtower.png Watchtower: Builds a defensive platform manned by 3 Dunedain Rangers that will fire at nearby enemies. Cost: 400

Medic tent.png Medic Tent: Builds a medic tent which heals nearby allies and grants them leadership. Cost: 600

Troop tent.png Troop Tent: Builds a troop tent which allows for the recruitment of rams and the hero Halbarad. Cost: 300

Storage tent.png Storage Tent: Builds a storage tent which generates extra resources. Cost: 500
