Defend the Shire 2

Welcome to the official Edain Mod Wiki, Companion of Edain! This is a wiki entirely dedicated to the Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2: Rise of the Witch-King addon: the Edain Mod. The Edain Mod is an total conversion mod for the Rise of the Witch-King that expands greatly on every aspect of the game using the lore and that uses the Battle for Middle-Earth 1 fixed plots building system. We are currently editing 663 pages with 31,579 edits in total, and we need all the help we can get!

New Player? Not sure where to start with the mod? Here's a few helpful links:

The Ring Heroes are in each faction of great strength and mighty will who dare to take upon the power of the One Ring at whatever cost. Apart from Sauron most are educated guesses drawing both from the movie and book lore along with a good dose of common sense. They are a key component from each faction and a unique selling point of the mod as no other mod presents such an exhaustive use of the Ring of Power. Units cannot pick the ring up and instead a Ring-Hero must be bought and brought to the Ring before Gollum steals it back. A full list of all the Ring Heroes can be seen here.
