Glorfindel's Wind Riders (Sindarin: Rochbin Gwae Glorfindel) are extremely quick heroic cavalry and can run down most enemies apart from upgraded or heroic pikemen. Used wisely they can serve to harass the enemy or destroy his archers. Only a maximum of 3 battalions can be recruited at the same time.
Wind Riders preview
The Wind Riders are available at the Imladris Green Pasture once all the research from the Library has been completed (thus making the Green Pasture level 3). The Forged Blades, Heavy Armor, and Horse Shield upgrades must also be researched.
Abilities[]
Unyielding - The Wind Riders are formidable, unyielding warriors in combat and can never be knocked down or thrown off of their horses. (Passive ability)
Ride Like the Wind - The Wind Riders urge their mounts on, decelerating 90% less when trampling at the cost of 90% of their damage. Cannot be used simultaneously with Legend Slayers.
Legend Slayers - The Wind Riders gain +40% damage for 30 seconds and an additional 20% damage against heroes and monsters for the duration. Cannot be used simultaneously with Ride Like the Wind.

Mechanics in Arnor[]
Recruit Glorfindel's Wind Riders, a deadly heroic battalion mounted on horses and trained in Rivendell to serve Arnor. Unlike the Imladris faction, Glorfindel must be present on the battlefield before being able to train his Wind Riders.
