"They [Dwarves] will love first the things made by their own hands, as doth their father. They will delve in the earth, and the things that grow and live upon the earth they will not heed. Many a tree shall feel the bite of their iron without pity."
Yavanna, The Silmarillion

The Lumber Mill is a Dwarven resource building built on settlements. Unlike other resource production structures of Good factions, the Lumber Mill spawns 5 dwarves armed with axes when it is built, and they generate income by cutting down trees (much like the Isengard Lumber Mill).

Level Up[]

Worker Tools Good Worker's Tools: Upgrades the building to rank 2. At rank 2, economy buildings produce 25% more resources and gain 500 additional hit points. Recruitment buildings of the Dwarves work 20% faster and 1500 additional hit points

Forged Worker Tools Good Forged Worker's Tools: Upgrades the building to rank 3. At rank 3, internal economy buildings produce 20% more resources and gain 1000 additional hit points. Recruitment buildings work 30% faster and 1500 additional hit points
The upgrades can be researched from the Dwarven Forge

Abilities[]

Resource Production - The Lumber Mill does not produce resources itself. Rather, Dwarven Laborers must go out and cut down trees to bring back resources. At the start, the lumber mill has two workers which makes it produce slightly less resources than other economy buildings at the start. Once the lumber mill has five workers it will produce a lot more resources than other economy buildings. However, it depletes the environment around it quickly and will usually cut down all the trees nearby in 10 minutes. Everytime a worker brings back wood they generate 22/27/33 Resources resources based on its level.

Improved defensive measures Level 3: Man the Defenses - The workers take up arms. For 20 seconds, the building shoots at nearby enemies but doesn't produce resources.

Exploitation Exploitation - The Lumber Mill clears nearby forests for resources. Lumber mills are not affected by supply routes (inflation) but their Dwarven Laborers require command points. At five workers, the lumber mill will function at full capacity and produce more resources than other economy buildings.
