"Treebeard is Fangorn, the guardian of the forest; he is the oldest of the Ents, the oldest living thing that still walks beneath the Sun upon this Middle-earth."
Gandalf

Recruit the oldest ent of Fangorn Forest, Treebeard. Treebeard, also known as Fangorn, was an ancient tree-like being who is a "shepherd of trees". He has a very tall and stiff-limbed appearance, with bark-like skin and leafy hair. According to the books, ents are much stronger than trolls, as trolls are just crude imitations of ents.

Treebeard functions much like other ents, able to effectively throw rocks and stomp on buildings and units. Vulnerable to fire, so don't be hasty. He is recruited at level 10 from the Entmoot settlement expansion.

Strategy

Treebeard, like all ents, can switch between throwing rocks and melee attacks. He is vulnerable to fire. Treebeard can boost other ents with his leadership ability. If he is in danger you can use his ability Guardians of Fangorn to distract enemies. Mostly Treebeard and other ents should focus on destroying enemy buildings as it is their primary role.
